With creative direction from Vincent Truter at Orlando we developed the visual identity for Doctors Without Borders (MSF) in Southern Africa.

We crafted a series of illustrations to represent MSF's mission and values. The illustrations were compiled together to create a poster.

The illustration style was inspired by South African anti-Apartheid protest posters and each icon carries the red line from the MSF logo. The character that appears throughout is called iMpilo, which means health/life in Zulu.

Shweshwe cloth inspired patterns to add more depth to MSF’s visual identity.
