Love Norwood Day an epic celebration of Norwood and it's surrounding neighbourhoods is happening on Sunday the 15th of Feb 2015.
The suburb is one of our favourites in the city. Many of the homes date back to the 20's and 30's, it's home to Johannesburg's oldest surviving pub and it was also once home to Ghandi. These are just a few reasons way we love our 'hood.
Brett McDougall is passionate about Norwood and he's working hard to promote and revive one of Johannesburg's most vibrant and diverse suburbs. We are so excited to be part of this really cool venture. Follow The Republic of Norwood on Facebook and Instagram.
The event will include a photo walk where participants are encouraged to instagram quirky things they see in the area. Also enter your instagram pics in the Love Norwood competition to win cool prizes! Just #lovenorwood - very easy! There will also be food trucks and space to picnic, so bring along a picnic blanket and your own wine (no alcohol for sale at the market). Kids will have their very own space to play in!
See the poster below for all the details.
Paper Snap will have a stand at the market and we will be doing some screen printing demos and selling a few products. It's bound to be a fun day out, we hope to see you there!
